I want to start by apologizing since I always hate to leave a negative review, but the SUMMARY OF: MALIBU RISING : A Novel By Taylor Jenkins Reid , IN-DEPTH SUMMARY had a lot of issues. First, it wasn't all that in-depth. I could kinda forgive that, even though it was billed as such, if the quality made up for the lack of quantity. Unfortunately, it was the opposite for me. From the very beginning, the author kept switching from present to past-tense or vice versa, often in the same paragraph. Incorrect words were used...for example: (and this is verbatim with the same punctuation as in the book) "Subsequently they were intimated, and afterward, it's obvious to June that Mick lied about her being his first." Or: "Mick expressions his regret to June." I'm not sure if there was a language barrier and a translation problem with some of the wording, but nonetheless, the overall writing in this summmary was just not that good. At the very, very least, it is in desperate need of serious editing.
